Terms of Service
Last updated: September 7, 2026
These terms apply to Motocross Tracker — the Apple Watch app, the Garmin Connect IQ app, and the companion website at motocrosstracker.com. By using any of them, you agree to what’s written here.
Your rides are tracked
When you use Motocross Tracker, your rides are tracked and recorded. That includes GPS location traces, heart rate readings, lap times, and moto and rest durations, captured on your watch and uploaded to our servers so you can review them later. This is the core function of the app — if you don’t want your rides tracked, don’t start a moto in the app.
How that data is handled, stored, and deleted is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Pricing, and our right to charge
Motocross Tracker is free to download today, and both watch apps are currently offered at no cost. That is not a permanent commitment.
We reserve the right to put a payment wall in place at any time, without prior notice. This may apply to any part of the service, including features that are free today.
In particular, viewing your full ride data may result in a cost. Access to complete ride history, lap-by-lap breakdowns, heart rate charts, course maps, and any other detailed view of your rides may become a paid feature in the future, including for rides you recorded while the service was free. We may limit, gate, or price access to this data at our discretion.
We are not obligated to provide free access to your ride data indefinitely. If you want a copy of your data, you can request one at any time by emailing us at the address below.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to break the law, interfere with other users, attempt to access accounts or data that aren’t yours, scrape or overload our servers, or reverse engineer the apps or API. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
Safety while riding
Motocross is dangerous. Do not interact with your watch while riding. The app is a recording and review tool, not a safety device — don’t rely on it for navigation, medical monitoring, or emergency assistance. You ride at your own risk.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. GPS lap detection, heart rate readings, and every other measurement can be inaccurate or incomplete, and syncing can fail. We don’t guarantee the service will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we don’t guarantee that ride data will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost rides, or injury arising from your use of the service.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including adding paid tiers as described above. We may also update these terms — when we do, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
